Dr. Thomas Stewart
Dr. Thomas Stewart serves as Executive Vice President for Social Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (S-JEDI) at National University. With over three decades of leadership in K–12 and higher education, Stewart has co-founded or led more than 20 schools and non-profit organizations.
Previously President of both John F. Kennedy University and Patten University, he has contributed to major initiatives in school reform, parental engagement, and criminal justice policy. A scholar and practitioner, Stewart holds a Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of the District of Columbia. His work is distinguished by a commitment to inclusive education and transformative leadership.
