Gail Wiseman is the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of External Relations at One City Schools in Madison, Wisconsin. Joining the organization in 2019, she rapidly advanced into senior leadership, overseeing operations and spearheading external partnerships that support the school’s mission.

A University of Michigan graduate and Certified Association Executive (CAE), Wiseman previously worked with the Institute of Food Technologists and Aflac. Her unique background as a professional ballet dancer informs her disciplined, creative approach to leadership.

Wiseman has deep roots with One City Schools, having served as a founding board member from 2013 to 2016. Now as COO, she ensures operational excellence while advancing the school’s presence in the broader community. A mother of two and grandmother of four, she remains passionately committed to expanding access to quality education.
